National Guidelines: We adhere to the “National Guidelines for the Prevention of and Response to Sexual Abuse in the Catholic Church in Aotearoa New Zealand“.

NOPS: The Diocese of Auckland works with the National Office for Professional Standards (NOPS) to implement these guidelines.

NOPS Role: NOPS sets the strategic direction for safeguarding policy, monitors compliance, and is responsible for responding to and managing all complaints about abuse in the Church.
