Saturday 5 October we celebrate the tradition of the Month of the Rosary beginning with the Rosary at 6.45 pm then with a Choral Mass at 7.30 pm. Our Choral celebration is a beautiful way to begin the month with our Cathedral Vocal Ensemble directed by Nicholas Forbes.

The month of October each year is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary, primarily due to the fact that the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7. It was instituted to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of the Rosary by the faithful.
